Most of the profits from last year's concert  went to help these charities.

Help for heroesHelp for Heroes

Help for Heroes was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. The message of the charity is simple: We are strictly non political and non critical; we simply want to help. We believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. We may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better.

Concert in the Park 2013- Cancelled

The Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill is disappointed to announce that it will yet again be unable to stage the ‘Concert in the Park’ this year.

The concert has become a regular feature in the calendar of events in the Southend area and has benefited many local, national & international charities.

Unfortunately this year economic conditions and the failure to find a sponsor means that it is unlikely that the concert will generate the profits needed to support our charities. Members of the club would have to make up any loss from their own pockets.

However, The Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill would like to stress that it fully intends to bring back the Concert when conditions improve.  The  Club would like to thank all patrons & sponsors of the Concert for their fantastic support over the years.
